About Fabregas:
Cesc Fabregas is an exciting midfield maestro who is one of the most promising young players in current European football. Fabregas was a talented footballer from an early age and his impressive ability led him to be taken on as a trainee with Barcelona. However, despite strong performances Fabregas did not sign for Barcelona but instead decided to join English Premier League side Arsenal in 2003.

At Arsenal Fabregas was given the chance to develop his overall game and was soon pushing his way into the first team slowly becoming an integral member of the midfield. Fabregas was establishing himself as one of the most talented and technically gifted midfielders playing in the Premiership and was compared to Portugal's and Manchester United's star player Cristiano Ronaldo. Since the departure of Patrick Viera to Juventus Fabregas has excelled in marshalling the midfield and has proven he can be a tough tackler as well as a skilful playmaker.

Recently Fabregas' impressive performances drew speculation that he may leave Arsenal to join European giant's Real Madrid but these rumours were ended when Fabregas signed a new eight year deal with the club. Fabregas has continued to develop at Arsenal and he has succeeded in establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premiership with an exciting creative flair and was rewarded for his efforts as he was named Arsenal’s player of the Season in 2007.

Fabregas plays for the Spanish national team and has become a regular member of the squad. Fabregas was a part of the Spanish squad that participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
