Henry and Ribery doubtful

France suffered a double Euro 2008 scare when both Thierry Henry and Franck Ribery withdrew injured from training on Thursday.

Barcelona hitman Henry was forced off soon after the session started to undergo treatment on a sciatic nerve problem. Ribery was troubled by an ankle injury.

Ribery suffered the knock in France's 1-0 victory in the warm-up game against Colombia on Thursday.

With France's opening Group C game with Romania in Zurich on Monday looming large on the horizon, Les Bleus are nevertheless confident both will play. Patrick Vieira, despite recovering from a thigh injury, is not expected to be included.

Holland and Italy are the other two teams in what has already been dubbed the ‘Group of Death'. The duo will meet each other in Berne also on Monday.
